Frosty and wintery conditions were embraced and endured by only the bravest of Vegan Runners on this first parkrun of December 2023. 631 of us attended 278 events, 580 of us were given a finish token and over 50 of you nobly took on a very chilly voluntary role. Many of you had to find alternative venues as there were over 100 cancellations, mainly due to icy and snowy conditions
.
Lots of lovely meetups still took place, the most popular of which were held at:
26 Ashton Court parkrun
14 Sharpham Estate parkrun
9 Rothwell parkrun

7 Tollcross parkrun, Glasgow
7 Great Lines parkrun, Medway

Well done everyone, a great turnout repping our wonderful club considering the icy conditions and the many cancellations that impeded attendance this week. Next week looks a little warmer, although do check for Christmas events which might affect your intended parkrun venue. Let me know in the comments of any errors or omissions! Have a wonderful week and let’s smash out a collective sub30 next week!
